"I just released the EP a month ago, so April was a really fun, really exciting month. I’d been working on those songs for the past few years off and on, with the exception of ’Control’, which I wrote when, I was 17. So I was really excited to get it out there and have people hear it. For me, the biggest thing with my songwriting and performance is that once I release a song, it’s not for me anymore. I want people to take from it whatever it means to them. That’s why I just really want to keep playing and performing. And I’m always writing, the album is pretty much written, but I just need some time to reflect on everything and just evaluate. It’ll just be a matter of me kind of locking myself in my room to work on it and really get it all down.
