Well, it's changed a lot and it hasn't. People have been proclaiming the death of the YouTube community since before we joined it back in 2007. There's always a sense that the ‘golden age’ came just before you. I think that there are a lot of really wonderful and productive online communities on YouTube. I'm deeply inspired by a lot of them. But there is also a lot of negativity and vitriol, and misogyny, and racism, in every corner of the social Internet. That includes YouTube, and it also includes every other social Internet site.
