Tommy just aced his interview â which was admittedly the easiest interview of all time because Emily asked him if he could scoop ice cream and he got the job. This moment of celebration is only made trickier by the fact that Luke shows up at the ice cream parlor. Not knowing any better, Tommy sits down with his supposed ally and tries to talk to him about it â only to realize it's a trap too late â maybe Joanne's gun tipped him off? Emily follows the trio because she's a smart girl and knows something is up. Joanne threatens to kill her, because a witness would really make things messy, but before she can do it, Tommy sends her and Noah to... somewhere. They vanish. This is Tommy's power. (So much for interviews being easy.) He takes off, embarrassed that she's seen his secret. We find out that he has zero clue about how his power works, and that he sends people and things to parts unknown whenever it's activated.
